AAPS CDT Programmes and Student Experience Officer (fixed term) (CT6778)

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the establishment of the new Centre for Doctoral Training in Advanced Automotive Propulsion Systems (AAPS CDT). Our CDT goes beyond the traditional engineering disciplines to bring together students from backgrounds in sciences, mathematics and social sciences, providing graduates with the skills needed to take the automotive sector in a new direction. The postholder will welcome the first student cohort, supporting them through their first year of study on the MRes and subsequent transition to the PhD element of the programme. An excellent communicator and networker, you will have outstanding organisational skills, the ability to establish processes and apply policy within strict regulations, and the creativity to find innovative ways to ensure an exceptional student experience. You will work closely with the CDT Centre Manager, Centre Director, academic staff and colleagues across the University in building the administrative support foundations for this exciting and strategically important initiative.
