We are looking for a highly motivated recent graduate who has experience, as a student, in student engagement roles such as course representative, society leader/member, peer learning leader, or with other university student focussed employment or volunteering, in order to support the development of initiatives across the University.   This individual needs to be a highly motivated, enthusiastic, a champion of student engagement, who is proactive and can work independently and with the team, to meet deadlines.

This is a year-long, full-time internship, starting in August 2019 for a University of Brighton graduate (in any discipline) and is based in the Watson Building at Falmer, but with the need to work across all campuses.

The Centre for Learning and Teaching: Student Academic Success and Partnership (SASP) team, has a role in supporting student learning and academic development through a range of projects including peer learning, student engagement, and study skills support.  

Working closely with university departments such as Student Services and Information Services, they aim to enhance the student academic experience through the design and delivery of initiatives such as PASS (Peer Assisted Study Sessions), Hit The Ground Running, online Academic Study Kit (ASK) resources, study workshops, mentoring schemes, personal development support, the Changing Mindsets project, and personal academic tutoring.
