Laboratory Technician in Anatomical Sciences (1164119RA)

Applications are invited for the post of a Level 3 Laboratory Technician based in the Anatomical Sciences Laboratory (ASL) within the Faculty of Medicine. This is a permanent term time only position working up to a maximum of 38 weeks per year, 35 hours per week. Ideally we are looking for someone who can work Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00.

The main roles of the post holder will be to provide technical and coordinative support in the Anatomical Sciences Laboratory (ASL) in order to maintain the teaching provision of the ASL and assist teaching staff, undergraduate medical students and external clients. In addition, the post holder will help to develop and maintain the range of teaching resources in the ASL. 

We are seeking to appoint an individual with experience working in a scientific laboratory, mortuary or similar environment. Applicants should be educated to HNC, A-Level, NVQ3 or hold equivalent qualifications or experience.
