تفاصيل :

Are you interested in the fields of dark energy and modifications of gravity? If so, we invite you to apply for the above two year Leverhulme Trust funded posts to begin in September 2020.

If your research interests include ways of testing these theories with cosmological and astrophysical observations or laboratory and collider experiments, we particularly encourage you to apply.

These positions are to work with Prof Clare Burrage, and form part of the research project “New Searches for Dark Energy” funded by the Leverhulme Trust. If successful, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse set of researchers in the Particle Cosmology group in Nottingham, and with the closely connected Quantum Gravity and Astronomy groups. We are looking for a researcher who can both work together with Prof. Burrage on the above project, and who has the potential to develop their own lines of research.

You will need to have, or be close to completion of, a PhD in physics or a related subject area, and have a track record of publishing and disseminating your work through conferences and seminars as appropriate to your career stage.

These positions are offered on a fixed term contract, with an end date of 30 September 2022. The hours will be full time (36.25 hours per week) and job share arrangements may be considered.

Informal enquiries may be addressed to Clare Burrage, tel: 0115 846 7903: Or email: Clare.Burrage@nottingham.ac.uk

Please note that applications sent directly to these email addresses will not be accepted.

Closing Date: 26 Feb 2020
