The Chair of Theoretical Information Technology has an immediate opening for a Doctoral student (Post Shannon Communication: From Theory to Practice (E13 TVL) (f/m/d)) for the joint project "Post Shannon Communication," which is being funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). In this joint project, transmission systems that go beyond Shannon's communication ap-proach are to be developed in order to achieve more efficient information transmission for selected applications. The position is initially limited to three years. An extension is possible.
