Research Delivery Lead (8 Posts) (MHNCC1246)

Are you keen to support the national research response to the COVID-19 pandemic? Do you have experience of working in or managing clinical trials?  Do you have strong communication skills and are able to interact with a range of stakeholders across multiple organisations? 

The NIHR Clinical Research Network is playing a critical role in the national response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The research delivery directorate within the NIHR CRN Coordinating Centre is responsible for national oversight and coordination of the Chief Medical Officer approved Urgent Public Health studies and oversight of the performance of non-COVID studies. We are looking to recruit an additional 8 Research Delivery Leads to support our current complement of staff within these roles. The new post holders will ‘buddy up’ with existing members of staff to provide enhanced support during this critical period. 

As Research Delivery Lead will work closely with the Local Clinical Research Networks (LCRNs) to ensure the whole study delivers to and beyond the Customers’ expectations.  As part of the team you will monitor the clinical specialty research pipeline with the Specialty Cluster offices and work with Local Clinical Research Networks to ensure that research is delivered at the right sites, while increasing equality of access for participants.

 The role will report to the Head of Research Delivery, playing an important leadership role within the CRNCC Research Delivery Directorate. You will have line management responsibility for a small team of staff, including a Research Delivery Facilitator.
