Are you interested in using your extensive development skills in an innovative clinical research environment? Are you an enthusiastic and driven individual with a desire to be part of an Information Systems team delivering high quality regulatory compliant IT services to support complex research? 

LICTR has a national and international reputation for conducting complex, large clinical trials, which address issues of high importance to the NHS; specialising in cancer, mental health, stroke, obesity, older people, cardiovascular disease, musculoskeletal disease, oral health and skin.  

As a Senior Developer you will join the Information Systems Team within the trials unit. You will be a senior member of the team responsible for delivering and supporting services underpinning one of the country’s largest clinical trials units. Reporting to the Information Systems Manager you will be responsible for leading development projects delivering new and enhancing existing key services used by multiple research projects.

Working in a highly regulated environment, your work will also involve ensuring services comply with regulatory requirements through adherence to standard operating procedures. You will also use your experience to provide support and guidance to more junior members of the team allocating and managing their work effectively to deliver solutions to specifications within project timeframes.

Due to the current Government Coronavirus lockdown and social distancing measures, the interviews for this role are likely to be conducted remotely using Microsoft Teams or Zoom.  It is also expected that relevant work within these roles may be done remotely, within the UK, while these restrictions remain in place.
