We are looking for a Employee Communications and Engagement Officer to help deliver a key strand of the University’s Brighton 2025 strategy - ‘Putting Students at the Heart’.
The purpose of this role will help ensure that employees at the University understand the work being undertaken to give our students a great experience, and how they too can contribute.
Working as part of our Marketing & Communications team, the role will draw input from stakeholders around the University, and distil it into a clear narrative about what we are doing for our students, and why.
Our ideal person will have:
• The ability to deal sensitively and assertively with colleagues at all levels
• A strong understanding of current higher education landscape and the impact on students
• The ability to use insight and information to champion the student experience
• Be a strong team player with ability to contribute and collaborate effectively
• Be able to create engaging content for a range of audiences
