Trial Co-ordinator (1395121CM)

The Southampton Clinical Trials Unit (CTU), based at Southampton General Hospital, manages a growing portfolio of multi-centre clinical trials that will directly influence routine clinical practice. Due to new grant awards we have a vacancy for a Trial Coordinator to join the existing team to develop and manage one or more trials. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous clinical trials experience to join a CTU which has full registration status from the UK Clinical Research Collaboration (UKCRC). 

The successful applicant will have significant interest in clinical trials in the NHS or the commercial health research sector. The successful applicant will also have excellent organisation and communication skills, a good understanding of GCP and clinical trial regulations, and be willing to travel within the UK.

This post is offered on a full-time basis, but part-time may be considered. The post is offered on a one-year fixed term contract in the first instance with the possibility of an extension.
