About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Engagement Fellow to join the Nursing and Midwifery Education Department within the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine. In this role you will lead, co-ordinate and support staff in the design, development and delivery of external engagement, knowledge exchange and/or value creation products, services and other interventions that meet employer/organisational needs within the field of salutogenesis and personalised care.  You will inspire best practice, acting as a key leader and expert advisor in the embedding of external engagement, knowledge exchange and value creation activities into the University’s teaching and/or research activities. The role will create value and impact internally and externally.

You will contribute to the advancement of new knowledge through peer reviewed conferences, articles in learned journals and keynote addresses at meetings of a high academic standing. In addition, you will demonstrate a track record of securing internal and external funding.

About You

A registered nurse  with a PhD, you  will be an expert in the field of Salutogenesis and personalised care, creating value and impact internally and externally through leading, co-ordinating and supporting the development of external engagement and knowledge exchange. You will initiate and lead on activities that will enrich learning, enhance student employability, increase staff career opportunities, and deliver impact for external organisations.

In this role it will require you to have excellent strategic leadership skills including highly effective communication and people skills with excellent emotional intelligence.
