About the role 

The Assessment & Awards Team, within Registry is seeking to appoint a highly motivated professional to take on the role of Assessment & Awards Officer.

The successful applicant will line manage a committed team, and work within the wider Registry to deliver high profile University events, such as exams and award ceremonies.  

The post holder will manage operational activities within Assessment & Awards and work innovatively, across teams, to deliver a high-quality student experience.  The post will suit someone who is enthusiastic, well organised and has experience of coordinating different events, activities or projects. 

The University has adopted a ‘Working with impact’ framework which enables managers and staff to effectively flex between working from home and campus 

Main Responsibilities

Work with the Assessment and Awards Manager to manage the University’s processes for student assessment, academic progression and award.Operate at the highest standards of accuracy and support the promotion of these standards in academic integrity, regulatory compliance, accuracy in student data and efficient supporting administrative processes.To evolve processes and procedures to ensure a student-centred focus is at the heart.To promote effective and productive working relationships both through in-person interactions and through electronic methods such as email and MS Teams
