Impaqt, performance evaluation of manufacturing systems

Software tools that represent manufacturing systems as an embedded model based on queueing theory provide an easy way for analysis and performance evaluation such that the evaluation of multiple scenarios can be done with minimum effort and time. Users greatly appreciate the speed of calculations and the ease of modeling. However, the precision of the results can vary between software solutions depending on the algorithm implemented.

Unlike Rapid Modeler which is based on an analytical decomposition algorithm, IMPAQT combines analytical decomposition methods and simulation to derive greater value than by applying one of these methods alone.

Firstly, the network is broken down and then each station is simulated in isolation to estimate an individual station's parameters. Then, each station is analyzed and preformance measures are derived.

It has an improved user interface and database management.
