Islamia College Peshawar, established in 1913, is one of the oldest institutes in the country. Over the last century, it has produced a critical mass of intelligentsia, not only in Pakistan, but its students are serving outside the country as well. With its up-gradation to the status of university in 2008, ICP is striving to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship for sustainable development through education. 
In this backdrop, Office of the Research Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC), Islamia College Peshawar, Pakistan intends to organize a three-day international conference in February, 2018. CMS-2018  brings upon a new platform to share and discuss all the innovations in the Materials Science and Research.
CMS-2018 conference involves the discovery and design of new materials, with an emphasis on solids. Advanced materials category covers a range of induistries including ceramics, glass, metals, alloys, construction materials and other high technology processing areias.
The CMS 2018 aims at presenting current researches being carried out in the areas of Materials Engineering for scientists, scholars, engineers and students from the universities, technologists, entrepreneurs and policy makers all around the World. Thus, the CMS 2018 provides opportunities for the delegates to exchange new ideas and application experiences face to face, to establish business or research relations and to find global partners for future collaboration.
