Biodiversity is the most vital and complex feature of our planet and it must be sustainable and preserved for future generations. Biological resources and diversity are vital to humankind’s economic and social development. With this awareness, the International Symposium on Biodiversity Research is organized by the Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Faculty of Sciences and Arts, Department of Biology. It is planned that the symposium will encompass a wide range of scientific research. It will bring together leading scientists and academics, institutional and governmental representatives at local, national and international level and provide an important channel for exchange of information between researchers.
