Mental Health Adviser (2117-26-R)

The Wellbeing and Mental Health Service at the University of Chester are seeking skilled and compassionate Mental Health Advisers to join our multi-disciplinary Student Services Department. We are recruiting to two positions: one full-time permanent position (this vacancy), and one full-time fixed-term position (12 months - vacancy 1404-26-R2) to support the continued growth of our Mental Health Adviser provision. Mental Health Advisers play a key role in managing the increasing incidence of complex mental health cases across the University. You will work with a diverse caseload, providing one-to-one support, risk assessments, crisis intervention, group sessions and awareness campaigns. Mental Health Advisers work closely with colleagues in Wellbeing and Disability & Inclusion, as well as collaborating with other internal teams and external services.
