Exact techniques and their applications

The main focus of the conference will be on exact methods in theoretical high-energy physics, statistical mechanics and condensed matter, and their applications. Due to the paramount importance nowadays acquired by interacting systems in several contexts of theoretical physics, exactly integrable models have become a fundamental tool to extract non-perturbative information on those systems. By allowing for a deeper understanding of the physics of strongly correlated systems, in several cases of physical interest exact techniques allow for investigating quantum field theories beyond the perturbative framework. The conference aims to put together experts in exact techniques in different fields of theoretical physics, as well as in their applications to contexts ranging from high energy physics to statistical mechanics to many-body condensed matter systems, such as supersymmetric models, string theories and exactly integrable spin chains.
