The international workshop SUPERMAX organised from 14 to 18 October in Toulouse will focus on recent experimental and theoretical developments in the research on superconductivity and itinerant magnetism in correlated-f-electron systems, under different extreme conditions of low temperatures, high pressures and intense magnetic fields. In addition to the invited and contributed talks, the workshop will offer moments for informal discussions, with the aim to encourage new collaborations and strengthen existing collaborations. Students and postdoctorants will be encouraged to participate to the workshop, by presenting their work either via a contributed talk (half of the contributed talks will be reserved for them) or at the poster session. The workshop will permit the participants to visit the pulsed-high-field facilities at the LNCMI, but also to discover Toulouse, a pleasant city in the South of France.
