NGS 2015 Nordic Conference

This second annual NGS 2015 Nordic Conference moves from last year’s venue in Odense and takes place at the Medicon Village in Lund, is organised in partnership with the Lund University Cancer Centre and will be a 2 day event.  NGS 2015 Nordic is ideally suited for delegates from international destinations as well as from local countries in the Nordic areas.

This year’s event will bring together leading genomics researchers and clinicians who use technologies such as NGS in the analysis or diagnosis of human diseases.

Speakers will discuss their latest genomic research in rare diseases and cancer as well as specific application areas such as Exome/Genome Sequencing, RNA Seq, Epigenetics and analysis of limiting sample amounts.  Whilst advances in these areas are being made and indeed will be discussed at the conference, the usual data analysis and storage bottlenecks remain and delegates will hear how some of these issues are beginning to be solved. 

NETWORKING:  in addition to the excellent science, NGS 2015 Nordic will be characterized by a collaborative air where all delegates get the chance to interact with each other during networking events such as an introductory networking session, a panel debate and a networking dinner on the evening of 27th October.

POSTER SUBMISSION:  We welcome poster presentation at our events.  If you have some material to present, please send us an abstract by 25th September 2015. This will be reviewed by our scientific committee and if approved you will receive a 15% discount off the conference registration fee.
