The conference was initiated by Professor Hans Zassenhaus in the middle 1960's and is currently held on an annual basis. On odd numbered years it is held at Binghamton University. On even numbered years it is held at different locations. Following Prof Zassenhaus's tradition, we welcome talks at all levels; and while the main and central topic of the conference continues to be groups, we are open to closely related topics like loops, lattices, and more.
