After the success of the last edition in Berlin, the 2018 edition will be held in Perugia - Italy from 19th to 21st of April, 2018 at the School of Medicine (Hospital Santa Maria della Misericordia) and Centro Congressi – Hotel Giò.
The President of the Congress is Prof. Gian Carlo Di Renzo, Director of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of the Hospital Santa Maria della Misericordia, as well as Secretary General of NESA and Board Member of prestigious international Scientific Societies. The Scientific Coordinator is Prof. Sandro Gerli, President of the Obstetrics Degree Course of the Perugia University and Head of the Centre for Assisted Reproduction.
The focus of the event, for which several hundred doctors and professionals will gather in Perugia, will be “Excellence in Surgery” , and as envisaged by NESA mission, the aims will be to improve existing surgical procedures and hospital organization, introducing new quality standards and transfers of knowledge and know-how, especially to countries with limited resources.
As usual, due to the international nature of the New European Surgical Academy, the NESA DAYS feature a rich EACCME-accredited scientific programme and is recognised amongst the most interesting opportunites to exchange views with the leading world experts in surgery. Authoritative Speakers from all over the world will attend, such as Prof. Dr. Michael Stark, Chairman of NESA and surgery consultant to major European hospital groups, including Ensan, and Prof. Tahar Benhidjeb, Director of the Surgery Department of the Burjeel Hospital in Abu Dhabi.
