SCTE 2020 — 22nd International Conference on Solid Compounds of Transition Elements 2020

The SCTE conferences are a traditional forum for reporting novel discoveries in solid state chemistry and physics of compounds and materials based on d- and f-electron elements, including (but not limited to) crystal structure, chemical bonding and crystal chemistry as well as physical (magnetic, transport and spectroscopic) properties of various families of intermetallics (hydrides, borides, carbides, silicides, pnictides, chalcogenides, oxides, halides). Both fundamental and applied aspects of the research are covered. Presentations will consists of plenary, invited and contributed talks, and poster sessions. The SCTE 2020 in Wrocław will be another meeting from that series after the congresses organized previously in Vienna (2018), Zaragossa (2016), Genoa (2014), Lisboa (2012), Annecy (2010), Dresden (2008) and Cracow (2006). The conference will be held at the Congress Center of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology in a charming, 1000-year-old city of Wrocław in Poland, in the vicinity of the Old Town - the historic city center with numerous shopping and entertainment possibilities
