Cracow Cognitive Science Conference is traditionally organised by The Cognitive Science Student Association of Jagiellonian University. The 12th edition, however, due to its topic, will be a fruit of joint work, as we are pleased to announce the beginning of cooperation with The Religious Studies Student Association.
The central topic of the upcoming conference is “Religion and Beliefs”. We decided upon that topic since cognitive science of religion is a rapidly growing field of scientific inquiry. It is in our conviction that studying religion from the cognitive approach allows us not only to better understand this broad phenomenon, limited not only to beliefs, but also rituals, specific experiences, or social institutions, but also to contribute to the trend of interdisciplinary research as a whole.
