The GLIA 2020 Inaugural Clinical Neurosciences Conference is a multi-disciplinary events with a range of physicians and providers including neurology, radiology, optometry, family medicine, ophthalmology, chiropractic, neurosurgery, and dentistry, among others. Lecture series topics include neuro/vision rehabilitation, TBI, concussions, vestibular disorders, interventional radiology, visual and neurological disorders, speech pathology and disorders. GLIA was founded in 2016 by Drs. David Rosenthal and Charles Shidlofsky as an organization to bring providers and professionals together to help facilitate clinical cross-collaboration, and, in turn, increase the rate of positive patient outcomes. Often times, quality patient care is hindered by a disconnect among providers spanning multiples disciplines and, as a consequence, this frequently yields less than ideal clinical outcomes. In GLIA, we wish to foster an educational, networking, and peer-to-peer relationship-building forum which serves to bring providers together as we learn and grow through interdisciplinary collaboration.
