SGEM 2015 GeoConference on SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGIES IN GEOLOGY, EXPLORATION AND MINING

It is an honor for us to invite you to the 15th  Anniversary of SGEM 2015 GeoConference on SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGIES IN GEOLOGY, EXPLORATION AND MINING that is part of the 15th International Multidisciplinary Scientific GeoConference & EXPO SGEM2015(www.sgem.org), where we bring together scientists, educators, and practitioners representing research and educational institutions, companies, governmental agencies and consulting organizations from all over the world to exchange ideas, to define the research priorities in the above fields and to propose potential solutions to problems related to the global changes. The SGEM events date back to 2001.  To celebrate the 15th Anniversary edition of the conference all participants will receive a 15% discount from the registration fees. Also, on this occasion, the organizing team will prepare a lot of surprises at the venue for every participating lecturer, co-lecturer, publisher or virtual lecturer. Over the past years, we have established high standards in publishing research papers, stimulating their progress and achievements.  Papers are approved by the Review Committee, and will be published into the SGEM CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS (ABSTRACTS+FULL PAPERS) (ISSN: 1314-2704) indexed by ISI Web of Knowledge, Web of Science, Elsevier Products, SCOPUS CrossRef, ProQuest, EBSCO, Google Scholar.

Following our tradition, SGEM GeoConference on SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGIES IN GEOLOGY, EXPLORATION AND MINING considers questions concerned to Geology and Hydrogeology; Engineering Geology and Geotechnics; Exploration and Mining; Mineral Processing; Applied and Environmental Geophysics; Oil and Gas Exploration.

The conference will be organized in Workshops and Invited Sessions that will be held as a parallel to the conference oral presentations sessions. These are additional opportunities for the SGEM participants to exchange views and to learn about the best practices in environmental researches application and management. The concurrent SGEM Expo, related to the conference topics, is another excellent opportunity to promote a company and to meet potential clients and business partners. All the sessions are accompanied with various social events to make the conference a pleasant experience in all aspects.

All theoretical, methodological and conceptual reports presenting contemporary geoscience development and problem solving ideas are expected with a great interest. Special attention will be given to reports, proposing science based ideas for decision-making and adaptation to the new reality of global changes. During the Official Award Ceremony which will be held on the last day, authors of the Best presentations (Oral/PhD/Poster) will be awarded by the Scientific Committee with special crystal plaques.
