The summer school “User Interaction in Smart Environments” is devoted to PhD students and young researchers, who want to deepen their know-how on recent advances in smart spaces modeling and interaction, and identify new directions for their future research. Given the centrality of the covered themes for the Italian community of researchers working on HCI, the school is promoted by and organized in cooperation with SIGCHI Italy (http://sigchitaly.eu/it/informazioni-generali/), the Italian chapter of the ACM Special Interest Group on Computer-Human Interaction. The proposers are chairs and members of this association.
