This EMBO workshop will present the impact of genomic and proteomic data mining to reconstruct the evolutionary trajectories of chromatin biology, new experimental tools to explore the diversity of chromatin across a range of new model systems, and how these studies reveal reciprocal impacts between chromatin dynamics and evolution of genome architecture. For this, the workshop gathers experts in the field of chromatin and evolutionary biology in addition to experts pioneering techniques and approaches to study chromatin evolution.
