Mathematics Department at Tulane University is happy to announce the 2022 Clifford Lectures in memory of our late distinguished colleague and friend Professor Sławomir Kwasik. Our plenary speaker is Professor Reinhard Schultz (UC Riverside), who will give the following three lectures: Lecture 1. Rational invariants in algebraic and geometric topology. Lecture 2. Isovariant homotopy and classifications of group actions on manifolds. Lecture 3. High-dimensional topology and low-dimensional group actions. In addition, we will host talks by several distinguished researchers in the field of geometric topology. We invite everyone interested in attending the lectures to fill-out the registration form available at the conference website.
Topics: Algebraic topology, geometric topology, group actions, surgery on manifolds.
