The University of Brighton is looking to recruit a Senior Planning Officer to work in the Planning and Performance Department. The Department provides information, insight, and analysis to support evidenced-based decision making on institutional-wide strategy and planning. You will work across the University providing planning and analytical support to senior members of the department.
We are seeking a self-motivated, proactive individual with highly developed analytical skills, to join our small and friendly team. You will have proven experience of analysing, interpreting, and explaining complicated information and data, with a strong eye for detail. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and clearly with staff at all levels, is essential.
The post holder will manage and enhance a range of strategic planning related activities such as:
Primarily leading and co-ordinating the student number planning processFacilitating an integrated approach to planningWorking with key people and teams across the UniversityYou will also play an important role in supporting the development of the University’s academic portfolio, have responsibility for recruitment and admissions related analysis and provide specialist knowledge and insight – into key factors establishing the future size and shape of the institution.
