Bring your experience of delivering high quality administration to a rewarding role where you can support both students and academics in a supportive and friendly team. we have two full-time (37 hours/week) fixed term posts available for 18 and 24 months.

The Timetabling Team are responsible for a full range of complex administrative and support activities including developing, organising and maintaining accurate and timely personalised student and course timetables. The Timetabling Team Manager’s role is to provide proactive line management and development of the Timetabling Officers while undertaking a timetabling load and developing and maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships across the university. 

Demonstrable work experience in administration at an advanced level, ideally within a Higher Education institutionExcellent communication skills and be able to form confident professional relationships with colleagues at all levelsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsThe ability to competently use, manipulate and maintain complex databases and online systemsExperience of managing or supervising a teamExperience of planning activity and resources over the medium term with an appreciation of the longer-term priorities.

The posts will be based at either the Moulsecoomb or Falmer campuses; the university also offers a more agile working environment where staff can work partly from the University and optionally partly from home (provided it is practical for them to do so).
