INTERNAL VACANCY

This vacancy is open to employees of the University of Nottingham only.

We are looking for a talent professional to support the design and delivery of key talent initiatives, including career frameworks, talent management pilots (e.g. succession planning), and learning & development activity. This is a new role which will support activity across all our talent management areas of focus: supporting managers, enabling individuals, and building organisational capability.   

Reporting to, and supported by, the Talent Manager within the Learning and Development Team, you will work across the department in collaboration with other HR teams. Your role will primarily focus on supporting internal talent; however, it will require close collaboration across the team to complement and support talent attraction and recruitment approaches.  

This is a great opportunity for you to bring new approaches to talent management, demonstrating your project management skills, creativity and solution-focused mindset.  You will be working with a diverse range of stakeholders (including both academic and professional services colleagues) to influence and support their approach to building talent pipelines, developing staff and piloting new talent initiatives, so excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse range of people are essential. You will need previous experience delivering a range of talent related activity and knowledge of key HR/talent processes. Please see the role profile for further information.

This is a full-time, permanent role (36.25 hours/week). We will however consider part-time working (minimum four days) or alternative working arrangements. Please specify your preferred hours in your application. We may also consider job share arrangements.
