The University of Surrey's Wellbeing and Welfare department has a great opportunity for Mental Health Practitioners to join the team and contribute to the student experience. 

Role & Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled mental health professional with experience supporting individuals with complex mental health needs. This fixed-term role is available on a full-time or part-time basis for 6 months. Working hours can be discussed during the hiring process, with the expectation that the successful candidate will be based on our campus.

Our well-established service is on a journey through an exciting period of transformation, and you will work within a committed and supportive multi-disciplinary team made up of mental health nurses, social workers, eating disorder therapists and counsellors. 

 As part of the role, you will: 

Play a lead role in supporting the service and the wider University to offer proactive and compassionate mental health support to our entire student community.Work with the Wellbeing team to develop a service to meet the changing needs of students with mental health concerns to bring about evidence based improvements to the service provision.  

We will consider applications from recent graduates with a current membership of the NMC/Social Work England/HCPC.
