We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our high-achieving Education and Student Experience team in the School of Life Sciences. 

As Curriculum and Assessment Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and developing critical aspects of teaching and learning administration. This includes leading assessment processes, coordinating school timetabling and curriculum changes and administering field trips. You will also contribute to the team’s planning and organisation of School-wide student recruitment and curriculum activities. 

You will bring to the role proven organisational and administrative skills and experience, preferably within a higher education context. You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to interact and collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organisation. You will bring first class IT skills and proven attention to detail. Taking a proactive and flexible approach to managing your workload to meet strict deadlines, you will be experienced in working supportively as part of a team to deliver activities in a fast-paced and varied environment. You will also have proven problem-solving skills and creative thinking required to develop and improve processes relating to teaching and learning.

This position offers a great opportunity to develop your skills and career. It is a permanent, full-time post (36.25 hours per week).

The University of Nottingham supports hybrid working with arrangements agreed locally. In practice this means the team balances the working week with some time spent on campus and some time spent working from home to support flexibility recognising that individuals and teams can be effective given the choice of environment.
