This role will be based on the university campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements

HELIX is the home for innovation in learning and teaching at the University of Leeds. We are seeking passionate student innovators to play a pivotal role in supporting the dynamic landscape of digital learning at HELIX.
As a Digital Innovation intern, you will become an integrated member of the HELIX operational team, assisting with the smooth day-to-day operation and maintenance of the space. You will help our community to access and use the space to its full potential, including overseeing our helpdesk support. You will deliver onboarding and induction sessions, and support engagement and evaluation of the space. You will actively participate in meetings, contributing innovative ideas that will influence the direction of this cutting-edge facility. Alongside supporting the day-to-day operation of the HELIX space, the intern will contribute to innovation projects exploring new technologies, creative teaching approaches, and student enterprise initiatives.
To excel in this role, you will need to possess a deep passion and vision for innovative learning. Effective collaboration and networking skills are essential as you build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and good organisational skills are a must. Practical experience in areas like multimedia production, public engagement, arts, design, or virtual reality would be advantageous.
