Your Role:
You will enjoy a varied and dynamic role, liaising with a wide range of people across the university and with external visitors. You will be the go-to person for School operational matters, providing advice and guidance, and supporting communications. Your responsibilities will include:
Working in conjunction with Academic colleagues to create and update school digital content as required.Manage the school social media accounts.Shared responsibility for all aspects of purchasing activities for the School, working within University policies and procedures using the relevant University systems.Processing general purchase requests for staff and equipment; consulting with school staff and external suppliers as required.Arranging travel and accommodation for postgraduate students and visitors to the School.General administrative duties including shared inboxes, managing enquiries, and minute taking.Support the preparation and delivery of student recruitment events.What We’re Looking For:
We need a flexible, supportive team player who can juggle tight deadlines and prioritise conflicting tasks. You should have experience in working in an administrative role and a busy office environment, with proven ability to work as part of a team. Key skills include:
Excellent IT skills.Good attention to detail.Excellent communication abilities.Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.Knowledge and experience of using finance and purchasing systems would be an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided.Join Us and Make a Difference!

Requests for secondment from internal candidates will be considered on the basis that prior agreement has been sought from both your current line manager and the manager of your substantive post, if you are already undertaking a secondment role.
