Please see below details of a new *temporary* assignment. 

We are looking for Domestic Assistants to work at Wessex Lane Halls

The successful candidates will: Clean halls of residence designated areas either individually or as a member of a team, ensuring that they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition. The majority of the role will include:  mop sweeping, damp mopping, suction cleaning, machine buffing, carpet cleaning, window cleaning, sanitary appliance cleaning, replenishing toilet requisites. 

Location: Halls of Residence based in Southampton

Essential Skills:
Attention to detail.
Able to follow instructions and guidance of line manager.
To work unsupervised after initial training.
A good understanding of written and spoken English is essential (for Health and Safety reasons).

Desirable Skills: 
Cleaning experience desirable although full training will be given.

Important points of note:

Temporary assignments offered through UniWorkforce are casual roles. The start and end dates specified are the expected dates but these can change without notice and there is no guarantee of work for the duration of the assignment and no notice period required on either side.  Please ask us for further details regarding this if it is a concern for you.Temporary workers are paid a month in arrears.  Pay day is on the last working day of each month.  This means that, depending on your start date, it could be up to eight weeks before you receive your first payment. To be eligible to apply you need to be able to start on the date given and work the whole duration of the assignment. The above assignment is open to all.  Prior to starting in the assignment it is necessary to register with UniWorkforce and show both Visa and Passport documents to confirm your Right to Work.Applicants will be considered on receipt and therefore this advert may be closed before the above closing date.Due to the high volume of responses we are unfortunately unable to respond to all applicants individually, but we will respond to those who the manager wishes to meet/take on for the assignment.
