Description :

We are looking to recruit an experienced developer to our Student Systems team at Bath University.  Applicants should have experience of implementing, developing and supporting complex commercial software solutions and will be expected to have sound experience of PL/SQL, HTML5, CSS. JSON/restful web services, and Bootstrap and be comfortable working in small teams on agile projects, in close co-operation with business experts.

Responsibilities

Investigate, analyse, review and document business functions and processes with key business owners. Define requirements for improving processes and systems to enhance quality or reduce their costs. Create user acceptance criteria with stakeholdersBe responsible for the definition, documentation and satisfactory completion of small to medium scale projects.Providing third tier application support. Periodically analyse third tier requests, identifying patterns and providing any tools/documents/training to the business teams and service desk to solve these issues.Follow systems development lifecycle techniques, including requirements elaboration, development and configuration, testing, implementation, and review, within a broadly Agile development methodology.
