Are you an ambitious researcher looking for your next challenge? Do you have an established background in Molecular Interfaces? Do you want to further your career in one of the UKs leading research intensive Universities?
Working within the research team of Professor B J Hickey and Dr Oscar Cespedes, you will contribute to this project, which aims to continue research in hybrid magnetism and molecular spintronics, in particular studying the spin dependent transport and emergent magnetic properties at metallo- and metal oxide-molecular interfaces. This includes work on spin dependent photovoltaic effects and the potential formation of spin triplets in superconducting/ fullerene/metal multilayers.
You will have a PhD (or have submitted your thesis before taking up the role) in Condensed Matter Physics or a closely allied discipline and experience in fabricating and studying hybrid mageto- and superconducting molecular interfaces.
