The School of English is seeking to appoint a Teaching Associate in English literature. The person appointed will undertake teaching within the School of English in the field of literature from 1500 to the present in general, and the period from 1500 to 1830 in particular.

Candidates should have a PhD (or equivalent) in any aspect of literature from 1500 to 1830 as well as having university teaching experience. Evidence of the ability to teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels is essential.  

This is a full-time, fixed-term from 1 September 2019 to 31 December 2019 to cover for a member of staff on parental leave and based in the School of English, Trent Building, University Park.

The interview process will include a presentation of teaching and a formal interview.
