Starting salary from £27,830, or £23,334 for development role - depending on skills and experience

This role is a great opportunity for all candidates from graduates onwards, while experience is not necessary, you must have a willingness and passion to learn the required skills. 

As part of the team you will be responsible for delivering the components of the application architecture, developing services to support the business processes of the University, working with the wider ICT teams to integrate internally developed or commercial off the shelf solutions. 

You are expected to have/quickly gain an understanding across a broad range of ICT disciplines and will actively contribute to the successful delivery of a number of innovative ICT services to the University community; contributing to the implementation,ongoing operation and development of these services.

Responsibilities of the post will include designing, testing, documenting and implementing key data integrations across all applications to ensure an excellent student and staff experience. 

 Key Knowledge and Skills

A computer related degree or equivalent experience.  Experience in developing applications using C#, .NET and SQL. Experience in data transformation and integration. Proven record of delivering results within a given timescale. Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer service focus.

 This could be a developmental role for a candidate who shows potential, with the salary being at the lower end of the pay quoted above in this case.

This position does not fulfil the UK Visas & Immigration sponsorship criteria for Tier 2.
