Assistant Professor (MED183419)

The Division of Epidemiology and Public Health is inviting applications for an Assistant Professor in Public Health to join our dynamic and friendly team of researchers who work across the spectrum of public health to improve health and wellbeing. Based at the Clinical Sciences Building, Nottingham City Hospital, you will have the opportunity to lead and deliver individual and collaborative research and teaching in the areas of global/international public health and health system strengthening, and make a contribution to the direction of research programmes in the School of Medicine.

As a people-orientated individual, you will have the ability to influence and engage collaboratively with students, staff and external collaborators. As a motivated and enthusiastic individual, you will develop new concepts and ideas to develop and win support for innovative research and/or teaching development proposals and funding bids. You will also have the aspiration to take on a teaching leadership role within the Division to ensure the successful continuation of our thriving undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programmes. You will also have the ability to make a significant contribution to successful running of the Division of Epidemiology and Public Health via leadership and administrative management duties.
