Applications are invited for the above post which offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in the nutrition education at the University of Nottingham and would be suitable for candidates with prior experience in higher education. Applications are particularly welcome from those who have experience of working in any of the following related areas:  social, psychological or public health aspects of nutrition

The post is based within the Division of Food, Nutrition and Dietetics in the School of Biosciences. The Division offers the BSc Nutrition degree, but also delivers other Nutrition related degrees, which includes a BSc Food Science and Nutrition, and most recently we have added a BSc in Consumer Behaviour: Food and Nutrition. All of these are also offered as MSci.  In addition, a four-year Master’s degree in Dietetics and Nutrition (MNutr) provides training in dietetics.  We also offer MSc programmes in Nutritional Sciences and Advanced Dietetic Practice. 

The successful candidate will be expected to have a teaching and related administration focus, contributing to the delivery of this portfolio of taught programmes, taking a significant role in the BSc/MSci in Consumer Behaviour: Food and Nutrition. 

Candidates should have experience of teaching at an undergraduate or postgraduate level. Ideally, they will have a postgraduate qualification (taught masters, or research degree) in a relevant subject area (medical/life sciences or education).  

This is a full-time, permanent post available from 1st September 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter and is open to job share.
