We have a great opportunity for a part time Administrator (half day Wednesday, all day Thursday and Friday) to join us in our Campus Computer Shop within the Computing Services department at the University of Bath. The team manages the day-day delivery of the IT Procurement Service to the University Faculties, Schools and Departments.

 We are looking for an organised and conscientious individual with strong attention to detail to ensure accurate records and systems are maintained. Excellent people and communication skills are essential for this role plus experience of working in a high quality customer service environment. We are looking for someone who is confident working independently but also enjoys working as part of a team. This is a wide and varied role, which involves dealing with, and supporting, a student and staff facing service

Responsibilities:

All aspects of the shop dealing with purchasing and administrative duties that are required to ensure the smooth running of ITP.Provide advice and support to the University’s staff and students, understanding their requirements and guiding them to the most appropriate technology products and services.Contribute to improving methods of working, to follow those methods once agreed and to document and maintain those methods so they become knowledge for staff across Computing Services.As a Faculty, we embrace change and provide a supportive environment in which to develop and grow, offering ongoing professional development with a strong belief of investing in our people and teams.

This is a part time post working 18.25 hours per week (0.5 FTE) as part of a job share.
