Description :

If you're a technically minded, positive and proactive problem solver with a solid understanding of developing and maintaining online and social media content, we want to hear from you.

Supporting the department and quickly slotting in to the ahs Marketing Team, the Digital Content Editor and Digital Supporter will lead the planning, creation and delivery of digital and social media content.

You’ll need to have an interest in all things digital marketing and enjoy keeping up to-date with what’s going on in the digital world. Using your knowledge of content strategy and user experience you’ll work closely with all teams across the department to ensure that information is both accurate and engaging to students, staff and visitors.

You’ll also be required to provide first and second support for the department’s IPTV system, so a background working with this is beneficial, although not essential. You just need to be able to pick up new systems quickly.

You’ll be expected to liaise with a range of third parties, agencies, stakeholders, students and staff so you’ll not only be an excellent communicator and analytical in your approach but you’ll also be organised and work well under pressure – sometimes with conflicting priorities. That’s not all! Good copy writing and proofing skills are a must, as well as good attention to detail.

The department includes Student Accommodation, Retail, Bars and Eateries, Guest Accommodation, Conference and Events and Security, so the job is very varied.

It’s a busy and exciting department, which has many peaks and troughs so, on occasion; you will be required to work longer hours, weekends or evenings.

Further details can be found in the job description.

To find out more about this role, please contact Liz Eyles Head of ahs Marketing and Communications on +44 (0)1225 383239 or e.eyles@bath.ac.uk.

This is a part-time (27.5 hour) post which is available on a fixed term basis until early July 2020.

Closing Date: 16 Jun 2019
Type: Management, Specialist and Administration
