An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT asset analyst to join our team.

This role is essential to the successful management of our IT hardware estate. The post holder will ensure effective management of our IT assets is in place, from the recording of new assets through to their disposal and will report regularly on this to a range of stakeholders.

The role analyses the hardware estate, looking for discrepancies, unregistered hardware and opportunities for PCs / laptops to be reused or redeployed. The post will play an important role in supporting our end user computing teams in providing hardware asset data.  In conjunction with colleagues in the Department the post holder will look for ways to improve and streamline our hardware management processes, including how we manage our mobile telephony / hardware. 

As part of a small team the post holder will also work alongside colleagues to provide support and cover in their absence, including support on software assets and hardware purchasing.
