Research Projects Manager (COS511)

We are seeking to appoint a full time permanent Research Project Manager to support the College of Science Research Office team and the academic cohort of the College of Science at the University of Lincoln, through the provision of high quality project management support.

The College of Science aims to conduct world-leading research in its areas of focus, working collaboratively with external partners from within industry, higher education and other sectors on a global scale. Academic recruitment within the College has been strategically focused on enhancing and increasing its research capacity, and the role of the College of Science Research Office (CoSRO) team is vital in supporting the College’s rapidly expanding cohort of research-active staff, their associated research projects and external income generation portfolio.

The Research Projects Manager contributes to project development, implementation, management and reporting of grants in the College of Science. The post will principally be focused on the provision of support to Innovate UK, RCUK (UKRI), leading charities, EU and internationally funded projects, but will also provide wider College research project management support, as required.

Under the direction of the Director of Research and the College Research Manager, and working within a team of Research Project Managers, the postholder will work towards the continuous development and embedding of the research strategy across the College of Science.
