The University Hospitality department isn't just about student catering. We have 10 outlets on campus and we're expanding. As well as catering to students, we host large conferences and banquets. Our customers are as diverse as our food.

We are looking to appoint two Assistant Hospitality Supervisors to supervise and work as part of a team to ensure that the customer experience is optimised. We are looking for the right people to fit within the team, willing to work in any other area when needed and to share knowledge to make the team stronger.

The successful candidates will have the ability to motivate the team and excellent standards of customer service in a customer focused environment. As an Assistant Hospitality Supervisor you will also be confident providing team members with operational training. You will have knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations, licencing laws and work well as part of a team. You will need to demonstrate the ability to lead, motivate and form effective relationships with team members. You will need the ability to remain calm under pressure, as it can be extremely busy over peak times

The role includes early morning, evening and weekend working on a 5 out of 7 days per week contract (36.5 hours per week).

The role includes early morning, evening, and weekend working on a 5 out of 7 days per week contract. You will be expected to attend mandatory training on weekdays; there is flexibility on the dates as there is usually more than one session to choose from. You may be asked to work non-compulsory extra days to cover special events such as Open Days, of which you will be paid accordingly.
