The post-holder will be joining the busy Student Services Operations Team. 

The role of the Student Services Centre is to ensure that students, parents/guardians, prospective students and staff can readily access the information, advice and support available, enabling them to fully benefit from their academic and broader experience.

The post-holder will provide support for the Student Services Helpdesk in a customer-facing role which can often be a demanding and busy environment and can include interacting with, and supporting students in distress. The post-holder will also be required to provide administrative support for the specialist teams within Student Services: the Counselling and Mental Health team, the Wellbeing team, the Disability Service, the Student Money Advice and Retention Team and the Projects team. As a Senior Operations Assistant the post holder will also be responsible for a level of planning, oversight and service improvement.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and customer service skills with experience of working in a service environment, alongside excellent IT and organisational skills.

The post holder will report to the Operations Team Leader in Student Services.

This is a full-time post of 36.5 hours per week to be worked Monday to Friday. We are open to job-share applications whereby two staff members would share the role.
