Based within the Halls of Residence on University Park main duties will include being the first point of contact for students and visitors, maintaining the security of the building, liaising with internal and external departments and providing excellent customer service at all times. Candidates will be required to set up meeting rooms and carry out basic maintenance and cleaning tasks completing relevant documentation as required. Experience of work based small scale maintenance and demonstrable customer service skills are essential for this role.

We have two permanent posts available:

Post 1 - 20.5  hours per week, to be worked 3 evenings out of 7 (to be arranged) including alternate weekends between 4.30pm and 12.00am for 52 weeks of the year. Flexibility to work occasional day shifts will also be required. This post attracts a 20% allowance when working weekends.

Post 2 - 20.5 hours per week, to be worked 3 evenings out of 7 (to be arranged) including alternate weekends between 4.30pm and 12.00am for 30.6 weeks of the year. Flexibility to work occasional day shifts will also be required. This post attracts a 20% allowance when working weekends. This post will start in September 2019.
