The University of Southampton and Dalian Polytechnic University Collaborative Programme are seeking to hire a Technician to support the day-to-day running of the University computing environment. This will include supporting the Desktop and Systems SupportTechnician in resolving incidents and ensuring all ICT related equipment is maintained, including print, photography and IT teaching support equipment. 

You will be very much involved in incident resolution and under the day-to-day guidance of the Desktop and Systems SupportTechnician in the school.  You will assist in the development and production of relevant procedures/processes for use in IT and Graphic Art facilities for staff and students in Dalian. There will also be regular liaison with relevant University of Southampton staff on site.

You will have some relevant work experience in a technical support role. Fluent Mandarin together with good spoken and written English communication skills are essential. 

You must be able to provide satisfactory documentation that confirms your right to work in China.

Based in Dalian, China you will be employed by China Southampton Education Consulting (Beijing) Ltd. on a contract with Chinese terms and conditions and receive a Chinese salary in RMB.
