Technical Specialist - Robotics, Automation & Control (TS18-17)

In Technical Services at Staffordshire University we are looking for an inspiring and dynamic individual to join the Smart Technology team - to support students and staff in robotics, automation and control. 

Experience in mechanical engineering, electronic engineering and software programming applied in the field of robotics is desirable, with the ability to engage students with high level technical instruction and support. 

The person sought must have a flexible and innovative approach to supporting the technical service requirements, enthusiastic about research into new or applicable technologies and the ability to develop skills in new areas. The role holder will be required to provide an excellent level of customer service with strong people support skills and with the ability to ensure that deadlines are met.
